Lying in bed with a middle-aged strumpet,
Billy was busily blowing his own trumpet,
Telling her how he devised and invented
A rose without thorns, completely unscented.

The rose had no pricks, but she felt she had two,
And he smelled like the monkey house in the zoo,
So with a brave smile, and a voice dripping honey,
She knocked him unconscious and took all his money.
